Job Description:
- Must Have Skills:
- Lead and manage regulatory reporting projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
- Strong communication skills - Role will require the ability to create and communicate requirements and status to executive stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the Bank's products and services and its subsidiary business units.
- Team player with ability to lead, be a self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ensure robust controls are in place to support timely and accurate production of statutory and regulatory financial reports.
- Experience in handling teams in different geographies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, compliance, and IT.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to relevant authorities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure continuous improvement.
- Understand the business requirements from stakeholders and convert the requirement into functional documents.
- Ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
- Document and communicate functionally.
- Ensure all support or project activities are in compliance with quality assurance, audit specifications, internal controls, and standards.
- Provide up-to-date and accurate relevant documentation of changes, fixes, upgrades, enhancements of supported applications and implementation procedures in accordance with established standards.
- Provide day-to-day management of the nearshore regulatory reporting team.
- Assist in the timely, accurate, and complete preparation of financial reporting.
- Good to Have:
- Experience in Audit/Regulatory Reporting.
- Experience in Agile-based development.
- Good knowledge of database structure and data mining - MS Excel experience is a must.
- Understanding of Wholesale Banking/Capital Markets businesses, products, and associated balance sheet, P&L, and capital reporting.
