Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Regulatory Reporting & Accounting Officer to manage MAS regulatory reporting and core accounting functions in Singapore.

The role covers regulatory submissions, documentation, and implementation of new regulatory requirements, alongside day-to-day accounting duties. You will handle MAS reports, financial statements, GST/tax support, and related clerical tasks, while contributing to treasury operations and settlements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working experience, preferably in a wholesale bank.
• Tertiary degree, preferably in Banking, finance or accounting.
• Good knowledge of MAS regulatory reports (610, 649 etc) and corporate loans.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Good team player with positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Willingness to help and support others as team

Responsibilities

• Prepare all MAS and other regulatory reports (including surveys).
• Prepare and monitor daily regulatory compliance summary.
• Maintain documentation for reporting processes; and
• Assist in managing changes arising from new regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation.
• Day-to-day accounting e.g. receivables, payables, accruals and prepayments.
• Maintenance of accounting system and manual standing data
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Assist in preparation of GST and tax returns and schedules
• Assist in preparation of DOS Surveys
• Prepare and update existing procedural manuals
• Process treasury transactions (FX, money market, derivatives, bonds).
• Payment & Settlement Operations (e.g., SWIFT, FAST, GIRO, wire transfers)
• Loans, Securities & Custody operations
