Meta is seeking an Escalations Specialist to join the Detection, Response, and Intelligence - Regulatory Escalations team. The team develops scaled solutions to user issues, protects users by decreasing negative engagement on the site, and provides insights into user behavior. This individual will work to improve the overall user escalations experience for the Meta community and will collaborate across internal and external teams to scale our escalations function effectively. The role involves clear communication with stakeholders and providing updates during high-priority escalations. We seek a team-oriented strategic thinker capable of process optimization, effective investigation, problem-solving, and proactive prevention. This is a full-time position based in Singapore.

Regulatory Escalations Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an expert on enforcing platform Community Standards and policies, including regulatory policies.
  • Investigate escalations across multiple channels on Meta's applications and respond to global partner inquiries.
  • Communicate technical analysis results to non-technical partners.
  • Utilize data and trends to improve escalation processes and recommend policy and product enhancements.
  • Handle high-pressure escalations, including gray areas, collaborating with cross-functional experts as needed.
  • Coordinate with global teams such as Public Policy, Legal, and Operations to develop solutions.
  • Maintain expertise on workflow changes, guidelines, policies, and standards.
  • Lead projects involving data analysis and strategy development.
  • Use tools and data to analyze trends and improve processes.
  • Some weekend/holiday work on shifts may be required.
  • Exposure to graphic and objectionable content may be involved.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of operations experience.
  • Over 3 years of project management experience.
  • Understanding of Meta Community Standards.
  • Knowledge of trust & safety, content integrity, and compliance landscapes.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-changing environment.
  • Sound judgment and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Experience influencing across regions and functions.
  • Experience in defining operational processes and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis.
  • Willingness to work with potentially graphic content.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology or social media industry.
