Maintain the Regulatory Register and ensure effective communication of both local and group regulatory obligations to first-line functions.
Oversee the Data Protection framework, including incident management, Personal Data Inventory, and conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments for relevant projects.
Work with first-line teams to update procedures in line with new or updated regulatory requirements.
Assess internal controls for adequacy and effectiveness to evaluate residual compliance risks.
Review marketing and disclosure materials to ensure alignment with internal compliance standards.
Liaise with departments to support internal and external audit processes.
Provide compliance guidance on new business initiatives and projects.
Present updates on regulatory developments and internal control matters to Senior Management.
