Job summary

HUAT SING (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a meticulous Compliance Engineer to ensure products, components, and documentation meet regulatory standards, safety requirements, and industry guidelines.

You will collaborate with third-party organisations on compliance, certification, testing, documentation, and regulatory submissions. The role emphasises risk assessment, testing, audits, and detailed record-keeping, with cross-functional collaboration across project teams, QA, legal, and regulatory affairs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant working experience in engineering, compliance, quality assurance, testing or certification is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, technical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and documentation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn and adapt to new requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory assessment: evaluating designs, processes, and products for compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Risk assessment: identifying potential compliance risks early in development.
• Testing and inspections: conducting product tests, site inspections, and audits.
• Documentation and reporting: maintaining records of checks, audits, certifications, and corrective actions.
• Collaboration: working with project teams, QA, legal, and regulatory affairs to integrate requirements.
• Advisory role: guiding management on compliance issues and helping develop procedures.
