General Scope & Summary

Directs a major part of the organization’s sales activities, such as a given channel, product line, major/strategic accounts, etc in APAC. Develop sales strategies and sales volume forecasts for a major part of the sales function. Plans and directs all sales activities including planning and implementing forecasts, developing policies as well as staffing and training of the sales force. Establishes short- and long-term goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Overseeing and directing the sale of all the organization’s products and services in APAC.
  • Develops sales strategies and forecasts sales volumes for all products and channels in territory.
  • Planning and implementing forecasts, developing policies, staffing and training of sales force.
  • Establish short- and long-term goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives.
  • Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for Sales activities in APAC.
Minimum Job Requirements

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Ability to communicate complex information to executives, customers, partners.
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Professional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationships.
  • Develops corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes the implementation of these policies. Develops strategy at corporate level.
  • Consistently works with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business.
  • Assesses, identifies, and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas. Requires in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the.
Education And Experience

  • 15+ years experience as second level manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, MBA preferred.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, channel partners, internal meetings and/or events (national and/or international).
  • Languages: local languages of geographic territory to be covered and fluent English are strongly recommended.
