Overall Purpose of The Job: The Regional Vessel Financial Controller will be a key member of the vessel financial operation for Shipmanagement ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the core financial statements that are sent to our clients.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Management responsibilities of Vessel Financial Controllers (VFCs) across geographies.
• Driving improvements to the financial reporting to our clients including accuracy, timeliness, variance reporting and forecasting.
• Developing a business partnering approach for the VFCs within the Fleet Cell.
• Drive improvements in reducing financial risk in vessel accounting.
• Monitoring adherence to the Group’s payment priorities Standard Operating Procedure.
• Participating in ShipSure vessel accounting relating development projects.
• Work with the Group Controlling team on all client audit related issues.
• Assisting in the development of financial operational strategies.
• Build strong relationships and trust with financial stakeholders.
• Work closely with the GSS Vessel Accounting leadership team.
• Developing the VFCs and Vessel Accounting colleagues through active coaching.

• Internationally recognised accounting qualification.
