About the Role:

Our client is a leading specialty chemicals company seeking for a Regional Technical Sales Manager to leverage technical knowledge and strategic sales acumen in order to accelerate business growth with both existing clients and potential accounts within the lubricant & oil additives sector across the ASEAN region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the lubricant additives sector
  • Drive sales growth and broaden the customer portfolio across assigned regions.
  • Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitor strategies to inform business planning.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing clients and strategic accounts.
  • Offer technical assistance throughout product evaluation, formulation, and deployment stages
  • Meet customers regularly to understand intended applications so as to recommend customized additive solutions
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal R&D or technical support teams.
  • Keep abreast on current lubricant technology advancements and associated regulatory standards (e.g., REACH, OEM requirements).
  • Conduct technical briefings or deliver product training sessions where necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Technical knowledge and experience in Lubricant Additives technologies highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the chemicals industry, with a proven track record of leading technical projects and exceeding customer expectations
