Job summary

CopperCo Talent Services Pte. Ltd. seeks an accomplished Regional Technical Director in Singapore to establish and lead the regional technical organization and applications laboratory.

You will drive advanced filtration and separation design for semiconductor UPW and offshore oil & gas, while managing international product qualification and quality systems. You will oversee a global team, collaborate with HQ, and provide technical pre-sales and post-sales support across SEA and the Middle East,

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience in filtration & separation technologies (membranes, metal filter elements, fluid purification).
• Domain knowledge in at least one of semiconductor UPW filtration or oil & gas offshore filtration.
• Proven track record building and leading engineering teams and managing project solutions.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly accomplished Regional Technical Director to establish and lead the regional technical organization and applications laboratory for our Singapore subsidiary. In this executive technical leadership role, you will drive advanced filtration and separation solution design across Semiconductor Ultra-Pure and Oil & Gas Offshore applications, lead international product qualification processes, manage customer-facing quality systems, and provide technical pre-sales and post-sales support across South East Asia and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Team & Lab Setup: Establish, manage, and scale the local technical team and applications laboratory in Singapore. Build and mentor a high-performing applications engineering and field service team.
• Advanced Solution Design: Lead process design for high-purity semiconductor scenarios (wet chemicals, CMP slurry, lithography, ultra-pure gases, UPW) and demanding chemical/offshore applications (catalyst recovery, ceramic membrane systems, corrosive/high-temperature environments).
• Supplier Qualification & Quality Systems: Drive complete supplier qualification cycles (technical data packages, extractables/particle validation, on-site audits, trial sampling, and ASL listing). Manage customer quality engineering interfaces including CAPA, change control, lot traceability, and performance reporting (particle counting, extractables, TOC).
• Contamination Control & Special Alloys: Lead overseas application of special-alloy equipment (Tantalum, Titanium, Zirconium, Hastelloy, Inconel) and ultra-high-purity (UHP) electropolishing processes to meet stringent particle and metal-ion contamination limits required by semiconductor fabs.
• Key Account & Pre-Sales Technical Engagement: Direct technical engagement for key clients across SEA and the Middle East, leading process diagnostics, solution testing, technical bid writing, and joint commercial-technical pursuits.
• International Certification & Standards: Oversee product compliance with international codes and standards (NORSOK, API, SEMI, semiconductor UPW specifications, ISO cleanroom classifications), utilizing the Group's existing ASME U1&U2, PED, and BV frameworks.
• R&D & HQ Alignment: Collaborate with Group R&D verification centers on product adaptation for international operating conditions. Translate international customer requirements into actionable technical specifications for manufacturing and R&D in China.
• Technical Risk & Governance: Manage technical risk frameworks and quality management systems to ensure compliant, reliable project execution.

Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

• Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on experience in filtration & separation technologies (membranes, metal filter elements, fluid purification).
• Domain Expertise: Deep domain knowledge in at least ONE (both strongly preferred) of the following industries:Semiconductor ultra-pure chemical / UPW filtration
• Oil & Gas / Offshore process filtration
• Key Account & Team Leadership: Proven track record in building and leading engineering teams, managing project solutions, and engaging enterprise technical stakeholders across SEA and the Middle East.
• Qualification Leadership: Direct experience leading products through rigorous supplier qualification and certification protocols (customer audits, data packages, change notifications, third-party testing).
• Languages: Business fluency in English. Working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage for technical alignment with Group HQ.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with international standards and codes: NORSOK, API, SEMI, UPW/chemical specifications, and ASME/PED pressure vessel codes.
• Hands-on knowledge of special alloys (Ta/Ti/Zr/Hastelloy/Inconel), electropolishing, or semiconductor-grade cleanroom manufacturing processes.
• Previous experience in technical or engineering management roles within leading companies across:Filtration & Fluid Handling: Entegris, Pall, Parker, Donaldson, Mott, Meissner
• Electronic Chemicals: BASF, Mitsubishi Chemical, Chang Chun Group, Sumitomo Chemical, Kanto Chemical, Soulbrain
• UPW & Facilities: Kurita, Organo, Veolia
