Job description

Our client is a leading MNC with a strong global presence and is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join its APAC regional office based in Singapore. This is a key role responsible for managing corporate tax matters across the region, including compliance, reporting, advisory, and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with stakeholders in finance, legal, treasury, and operations to support business growth and ensure tax integrity throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee regional corporate tax, indirect tax (GST/VAT), and withholding tax compliance activities across APAC entities
• Advise internal teams on tax-related matters, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated effectively
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders on tax aspects of business planning, restructures, and operational changes
• Drive implementation of tax controls, processes, and governance frameworks to meet compliance and risk management standards
• Monitor legislative developments and assess potential business impact across multiple jurisdictions
• Support or lead key tax-related projects, both regionally and globally
• Liaise with external consultants and advisors where required
• Take part in broader business transformation projects involving tax considerations
• Carry out additional duties or assignments as delegated by the regional tax lead

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 12 years of relevant experience in corporate taxation (regional exposure preferred)
• Familiarity with areas such as transfer pricing, indirect taxes, tax planning, customs duties, and tax reporting frameworks is a strong plus
• Strong professional ethics, with a high level of integrity and accountability
• Proactive and resilient individual who thrives in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse cultures and teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
