Qualifications

Regional Supply Planning and NPI Planner (1 year/Pharma)
Job Description:

Responsibilities

DEMAND AND SUPPLY PLANNING:

  • Support the consolidation of regional demand forecast to enable trend analysis and highlighting root causes behind forecast variances and corrective actions for improvement.
  • Interface and communicate with Supply Planning team on forecast changes. Work with supply teams or production planners to understand supply constraints, variations, and impact on demand in Demand/Supply Meeting.
  • Aggregating demands from countries and allocate supply as accordance to ordering and production rules defined by sites supplying to Asia.
  • Develop recovery plans on potential stock-outs due to under-forecasting or late deliveries or change regulatory and artwork timeline.
  • Maintain replenishment master data to assure efficient and accurate orders.
  • Manage purchase orders with the logistics & distribution team.
  • Develop balanced factory optimization schedules to ensure customer demands and production utilization targets are achieved at site level.

PROCUREMENT AND GOODS RECEIPT MANAGEMENT:

  • Create the orders based on suppliers transportation requirements and purchasing requirements (minimums, lead times, order levels, etc.).
  • Issue purchase orders as accordance to manufacturing rules, MOQ and lead time. Responsible for order tracking, expedition & fulfillment status.
  • Develop recovery plans on potential stock-outs due to under-forecasting or late deliveries or change regulatory and artwork timeline.
  • Drive continuous improvements in PO management process through driving high demand forecast accuracy, establishing PO placement policies (i.e., period where changes are allowed) and looking at automating/digitalizing certain aspects of the process to reduce manual efforts.
  • Ensure new product launches, tech transfer, site change from manufacturers/suppliers to other company BUs are implemented successfully and on time through accurate supply planning strategies.
  • Coordinate with supply sites to ensure production is done on time and shipments are shipped out as per schedule.
  • Resolve major supply issues with Supply/Production planners and manufacturers to ensure supply availability and meet launch timeline. Supply appropriate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as requested.

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Management, Production planning or related field with 5 years of Supply Chain Planning / Inventory Management experience in the healthcare business is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of Supply Chain and Material Management Systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Forecasting, Planning, Purchasing, Distribution and Project management is highly desirable.
  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of international business and pharmaceutical cGMP and GDP regulations.
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • CMO environment with procurement experience is a plus.
  • APICS Certification (CSCP or CPIM) is a plus.
  • Strong skills and experience with diagnosing and resolving complex issues and identifying transformational opportunities.
  • Skills in demand planning tool, Forecast modeling tools and ERP/MRP system.
  • Ability to meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Excel skills are desirable and comfortable with manual planning.

Contract Details:
1 year contract with full benefits (21 days annual leave, medical + completion bonus), MNC, Suntec, hybrid work.
