Responsibilities

  • Conducting in-depth market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges

  • Developing comprehensive strategic plans to align the Central Region operations with the overall corporate vision and objectives

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and key performance indicators

  • Monitoring market trends and industry developments to proactively adjust strategies and stay ahead of the competition

  • Presenting strategic recommendations and insights to senior leadership to inform critical business decisions

  • Tracking and reporting on the execution and performance of strategic initiatives within the region

  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of the strategy team

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a strategic planning or consulting role, preferably within the consumer goods or retail industry

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business problems, synthesise insights and develop innovative solutions

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey strategic recommendations to stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong project management skills and the capacity to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of strategic planning tools and frameworks

  • Advanced degree in business, economics, or a related field is preferred
