Job summary

A leading medical technology company in Singapore is seeking a Service Coordinator to handle service-related activities, manage customer relationships, and coordinate with teams and engineers. The ideal candidate must hold a graduate degree in a relevant technical field, possess at least 7 years of experience with medical equipment, and have strong interpersonal and management skills. Travel within the region will be required to address customer needs and facilitate negotiations.

Job description
    You will be responsible for handling service-related activities in the region. Your role will involve communicating with team members on a daily basis to understand their requirements. You will also be coordinating service calls with Field Service Engineers/Service Providers on a case-to-case basis, monitoring spare part movements with the logistic team, and ensuring fulfillment of requirements with the back-office team.Additionally, you will be expected to engage in discussions with Service Directors, Zone Service Heads, and Product Technical Support on critical issues as needed. Attending negotiation meetings with customers, visiting customers within the region to address queries and negotiate contracts or spare parts, and arranging pre-sale discussions or site inspections with the sales team will also be part of your responsibilities.Furthermore, you will need to coordinate project work, arrange for warehouse visits to fulfill customer urgent requirements, approve Field Service Engineers" expenses and attendance, forward sales leads to the sales team, and conduct surprise visits in the field to ensure the use of appropriate safety gear.On a monthly basis, you will review various parameters related to service operations and ensure compliance with quality requirements in all aspects of work. The minimum requirements for this role include a graduate degree with a relevant technical background, preferably a diploma or degree in any engineering stream, a minimum of 7 years of work experience on medical equipment, and knowledge of MS Office.Key skills and abilities required for this position include customer relationship management, interpersonal skills, willingness to travel within the region, ability to motivate and influence people, and strong supervision and management capabilities.,
