Job summary

ALDAN GLOBAL RESOURCES PTE. LTD.

invites a compliance professional to join the SEA, Korea, Taiwan and India Legal & Compliance regional team in an in-house capacity, supporting the SVP Legal & Compliance and liaising with compliance managers, officers, legal members, auditors and finance teams across the region including Singapore. The role ensures business activities comply with laws, regulations, policies, and internal controls while helping mitigate legal and operational risks.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal audit / business process reviews with legal skills.
• Able to work as a team member and willingness to self-learn and up-skill.
• Organized and detailed.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic control testing and process reviews to identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor adherence to internal policies, delegated authority limits, and operating procedures.
• Track and follow up on corrective actions arising from audits, reviews, and risk assessments.
• Prepare reports on control deficiencies and remediation progress.
• Work with team members to improve control deficiencies.
• Support implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on operations.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Support non-compliance case reviews.
• Maintain compliance registers, records, and documentation.
• Coordinate reporting and filings where required.
• Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Job description

This is an in-house (IA) role with 5 days work week.

Overall Description

As a member of the SEA, Korea, Taiwan and India Legal & Compliance regionalteam, you will assist the SVP Legal & Compliance and work closely with compliance managers and officers, legal members, internal auditors, finance teams and other teams in supporting the company's legal, compliance, and internal control functions in the region, including Singapore.

The role ensures that business activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies,and internal control requirements while helping to mitigate legal and operational risks.

Job Responsibilities

This includes assisting the Head of Legal and Compliance in carrying out the following:

Internal Control

• 1. Perform periodic control testing and process reviews to identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
• 2. Monitor adherence to internal policies, delegated authority limits, and operating procedures.
• 3. Track and follow up on corrective actions arising from audits, reviews, and risk assessments.
• 4. Preparer eports on control deficiencies and remediation progress.
• 5. Workwith team members to improve control deficiencies.

Compliance

• 1. Support implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• 2. Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on operations.
• 3. Assistin ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• 4. Support non-compliance case reviews.
