Job Description
Responsible for strategic planning, implementation, management, and operation of all finance activities within the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, governance, and negotiations.
Back-Office Team Management
- Supervise and make decisions regarding all Back Office functions: FP&A, HRGA, Legal, and IT.
- Provide leadership and guidance to subordinates, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
FP&A Management & Operations
- Create and manage annual budgets (Sales Revenue, Returns, Inventory, COGS, Expenses, P&L).
- Manage business performance tasks: progress management, data analysis, proposals, and reporting.
- Perform monthly tracking and analysis of budgets versus actual results, analyzing sales by product, customer, and geography.
- Optimize use of financial data and develop management reports to support decision-making.
- Lead the SEA team's monthly closing process with the accounting team and support financial analysis and reporting.
- Generate monthly business review packages and manage financial expectations.
- Analyze monthly/quarterly P&L and reports, discuss deviations, and monitor action plans.
- Coordinate local planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Support the business with planning tools, review, and question planning results.
- Communicate with business functions to drive strategy and achieve targets.
- Conduct periodic forecasting and gap analysis to meet financial goals.
- Manage inventory and order figures from a financial perspective.
- Prepare P&L reports for new store openings and closures in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Handle internal audit tasks and support transactions with clients.
- Perform risk management and collaborate with the parent company's Shared Service Finance team for audits.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years' experience in FP&A.
- 3+ years' experience in team management.
- Japanese language skills are preferred for liaising with Japanese stakeholders.
- Experience managing back-office functions is a plus.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to environmental changes and needs.
