About the job: Regional Senior Commercial Manager

The Regional Senior Commercial Manager will play a key role in expanding our business in SEA by overseeing strategic and operational aspects of the company's back-office functions and financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and direct all back-office functions, including FP&A, HRGA, Legal, and IT.
  2. Lead strategic planning, implementation, and management of finance activities such as budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and governance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage back-office teams and provide leadership aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis, including annual budgeting, sales revenue, inventory, COGS, expenses, and profit & loss management.
  • Monitor business performance through data analysis and reporting, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
  • Coordinate monthly closing processes and prepare management reports for decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis and collaborate with managers to address deviations.
  • Manage internal planning calendars, including budgets and forecasts, and support strategic planning processes.
  • Maintain communication across functions to drive strategy and achieve targets.
  • Perform forecasting, gap analysis, and manage inventory and store financials.
  • Handle internal audits, risk management, and compliance tasks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years in FP&A and 3 years in team management.
  • Experience managing back-office functions is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and needs.
  • Proficiency in English; Japanese language skills are a plus.
  • Experience in retail, especially fashion or cosmetics, is preferred.
