As a Senior Brand Manager, this role will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy and long-term vision for the brand at a central level and supporting key markets to maximize local opportunities. Senior Brand Managers must be able to engage and inspire both cross-functionally and in the local markets.

A day in the life of a Brand Manager…

  • Analyze business and consumer trends, identify key issues, and build and execute innovative brand plans. Demonstrate strong consumer insight and strategic brand-building capabilities, along with effective project management skills.
  • Implement growth strategies through a 3-year brand plan and yearly implementation plan (ICP). Develop or apply brand essence, vision, and manifesto aligned with local or global standards. Create strategies to excel at the first and second moments of truth (product and packaging) and collaborate with the category team to delight shoppers.
  • Responsible for developing the OBI, Big Idea, Campaign Idea, engagement strategies, and tracking their effectiveness.
  • Deliver a 3-year consumer and technically validated category innovation plan, identifying new, insight-driven ideas to drive brand growth. Develop new product ideas, renovations, and strategies, demonstrating vision and leadership in building the Long Term I&R Pipeline.
  • Accountable for brand performance in markets. Lead the main cluster of markets, identify gaps and opportunities, and find synergies to drive an efficient business. Support markets in striving for growth while challenging market-specific needs that may conflict with overall business objectives, offering alternative solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including external agencies, in developing and executing marketing strategies. Ensure alignment across teams and play a coaching role within the brand team, especially for junior members.
  • Lead transversal or cross-brand projects, working with other teams to meet overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with PTC, TAG, and R&D teams to develop products that meet palatability, digestibility, trend, cost, and sustainability targets.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Brand Management, including at least 3 years in a local market environment.
  • PetCare experience is preferred.
  • Experience in cross-functional general development (GD) is essential.
  • Proven success in project management.
  • Experience in achieving goals through teamwork.
