Regional Sales Malaysia - Malaysia & Singapore Market (Semiconductor Industry)

Location: Singapore (Remote)

Job Summary

We seek an experienced Sales / Key Account Manager to lead our sales efforts in Malaysia and Singapore, focusing on semiconductor manufacturing clients. The ideal candidate will have established relationships with key decision-makers in Malaysia and Singapore semiconductor fabs, OEMs, or related enterprises. You will drive revenue growth, build long-term partnerships, and position our solutions as critical to our clients’ success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Acquisition & Account Management

  2. Leverage existing networks to target semiconductor manufacturers, foundries, and supply chain partners in Malaysia and Singapore.

  3. Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet/exceed sales targets.

  4. Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle.

Market Penetration

  1. Identify emerging opportunities in Malaysia and Singapore’s semiconductor ecosystem (e.g., wafer fabrication, assembly/testing, R&D centers).

  2. Analyze competitor activities and adapt strategies to secure market share.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  1. Work closely with R&D, engineering, and product teams to align offerings with client needs (e.g., yield improvement, process optimization).

  2. Provide customer feedback to internal stakeholders for product enhancement.

Compliance & Negotiation

  1. Structure contracts compliant with international trade regulations (e.g., export controls, Incoterms).

  2. Lead negotiations on pricing, delivery, and service terms.

Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus.

  2. Experience: 5+ years of B2B sales experience in the semiconductor industry (equipment, materials, or services).

  3. Proven track record of selling to Malaysia and Singapore semiconductor manufacturers (e.g., Intel Malaysia and Singapore, Infineon, STMicroelectronics, local fabs).

  4. Existing client relationships with procurement, engineering, or C-suite stakeholders.

Skills:

  1. Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etching, deposition).

  2. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  3. Proficiency in English; Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a strong plus.

  4. Willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia and Singapore and occasionally internationally.
