Job summary

A leading company in motion control solutions is seeking a sales professional to drive their business development efforts in the APAC region. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of motion control products and have a proven sales track record. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years of B2B sales experience in motion control or automation.
  • Proven track record in regional sales and business development.
  • Ability to understand complex technical applications.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and business development of motion control products in the assigned APAC region.
  • Identify and engage new customers, distributors, and partners, while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and provide suitable solutions using our motion control portfolio.
  • Work closely with application engineers to support pre- and post-sales activities, including product demos, solution proposals, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and market growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and monthly business reviews.
  • Represent the company at regional trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align regional strategies with global direction.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automation, or related field).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of B2B sales experience in motion control, automation, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of motion control products such as servo/stepper motors, drives, encoders, motion controllers, and precision stages .
  • Proven track record in regional sales, business development, or key account management.
  • Ability to understand complex technical applications and translate them into business solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and comfortable with frequent travel in the APAC region.
