A leading logistics company seeks an experienced Sales Manager in Freight Forwarding to drive business growth. Min 3-5 year of experience with Freight Forwarding Sales (MUST)
Prior regional exposure and experience managing a sales team is preferred
Your Role, Your Influence:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight forwarding sector through targeted sales strategies and market insights.
Proactively engage and convert potential clients into long-term business partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction, client retention, and sustainable revenue growth.
Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring timely issue resolution and high service standards.
Conduct market research to analyze trends, assess competitive activity, and develop strategies to penetrate new markets.
Stay up to date on regulatory changes, global trade practices, andeconomic trends that may impact business operations.
Create and implement regional sales plans aligned with company objectives and revenue targets.
Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, finance) to ensure seamless delivery of freight solutions tailored to client needs.
Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to senior management.
Conduct and attend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events to promote the company’s services and grow the regional network.
Any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirement:
Diploma or Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
Min 5 years of experience in freight forwarding sales with proven success
Prior regional exposure and experience managing a sales team is preferred.
Strong knowledge of air and sea freight forwarding solutions, market dynamics, and customer expectations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools
Willing to travel regionally as required
