You will be responsible for achieving budget targets within the allocated territory (Singapore and Malaysia) by creating opportunities with both existing and new accounts. Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining a list of current and potential accounts.
Utilizing prescribed tools and processes to enhance FaceTime with clients.
Developing and managing opportunity pipelines that exceed budget and hit rate expectations.
Achieve budget targets for the allocated territory.
Act strategically to drive personal and team success.
Build and nurture relationships with clients within the territory, focusing on those who meet preferred client criteria.
Establish strong connections with both internal and external stakeholders.
Meet agreed FaceTime targets through visits, calls, and direct mail to both new and existing customers.
Create and maintain opportunity pipelines that exceed territory targets.
Record and act on opportunities generated in the CRM system promptly.
Use the company’s sales processes to understand customer needs, stay updated on market changes, and offer solutions that add value to client supply chains.
Document and share relevant customer information within the organization.
Act as a point of escalation for allocated accounts and lead business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Engage in cross-selling opportunities to maximize sales and contribute to the overall business goals.
At least 5 years of experience in contract logistics or supply chain, with a proven sales or customer-facing record.
Strong sales experience and knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry.
Understanding of the financial aspects of the local and international economy, market conditions, and business trends, including factors such as currency and cultural differences.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
Comfortable with presenting to groups of 5 or more people, including management.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with company goals and strategies, with the ability to align efforts to meet these objectives.
