Job description

  • Attractive remuneration package (Basic + AWS + Performance Bonus + Allowance)

  • European MNC manufacturer in components / machinery tools

  • 5 days work week, Ang Mo Kio

Key responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand region.

  • Key Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  • Sales Targets: Achievement of individual and team annual sales targets.

  • Team Leadership and Performance: Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.

  • Profit Margins: Profitability of Business Units product sales and overall profit margins.

  • Market Analysis and Penetration: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitors.

  • Sales Reporting: Monitor and conduct weekly report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Budget Management: Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, such as marketing, customer service and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

  • Travel: Travel within the region to meet with clients and attend industry events as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the linear technology or related industries.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful sales strategies.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

  • In-depth understanding of the machine tool industry, semiconductor, medical devices, and metrology and inspection industries.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.

  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel within the region.
