The Opportunity

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (APAC) who will lead our sales and business development efforts across the Asia-Pacific region. You will be responsible for end-to-end sales strategy and execution, achieving annual revenue targets, and building strong relationships with key clients and partners. This role demands a high-energy, hands-on professional with deep industry insight, the ability to travel across the region, and a proven track record of closing complex technical sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a regional sales and business development strategy aligned with Hydroleap’s growth targets.
  • Revenue Ownership: Drive new business and upsell opportunities to meet or exceed annual revenue goals.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and develop new market segments, sales channels, and strategic partnerships across APAC.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across sectors such as data centers, industrial manufacturing, food & beverage, and municipal utilities.
  • Sales Operations: Own the full sales cycle — from lead generation and pitch to negotiation, closing, and post-sale support.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure solutions are aligned with customer needs.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the water and wastewater treatment space.
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and provide timely forecasts and performance reports.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in B2B technical sales, business development, or key account management — preferably in water treatment, cleantech, or industrial utilities.
  • Strong network and knowledge within sectors like data centers, manufacturing, food & beverage, or environmental engineering.
  • Proven ability to design and execute strategic sales plans and deliver against ambitious revenue goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills — able to influence senior stakeholders and close high-value deals.
  • Highly self-motivated and hands-on — thrives in a startup/scale-up environment with minimal supervision.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently across the APAC region.
