Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute effective sales strategies to drive growth across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team annual sales targets.
  • Lead, inspire, and motivate the sales team to achieve both individual and team sales goals.
  • Ensure the profitability of business unit product sales and maintain strong overall profit margins.
  • Conduct thorough market research to uncover new business opportunities, while staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Track and report on sales performance weekly, offering valuable insights and suggestions for improvement.
  • Oversee the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, customer service, and product development to align sales strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. An MBA or advanced degree is an advantage.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the linear technology or related industries.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales goals and developing successful sales strategies.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Deep understanding of the machine tool, semiconductor, medical devices, and metrology & inspection industries.
