Introduction:

HMAP was established in 2015 as a manufacturer of Marine Navigation Equipment, integrating marine navigation, communication, and automation systems, and developing SMART Ship solutions that meet IMO and classification authorities' requirements. We are actively seeking self-motivated and driven salespersons to join our sales team as we expand into emerging markets in Asia, such as India and Middle East Gulf countries. The role requires candidates with maturity, enthusiasm, perseverance, and a willingness to engage with challenges and pursue great dreams.

Job Description:

  • Research, strategize, and develop new emerging markets
  • Identify and develop sales distributor networks to expand sales and meet targets
  • Identify and develop service partner networks to support sales
  • Manage sales team and distribution network
  • Achieve sales targets and align product sales development with company goals
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and service departments to ensure smooth delivery of products and services

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Studies or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management or managing a sales team of at least 30 salespersons
  • Possess a wide network of contacts within shipyards, ship owners, ship managers, and sales partners
  • Strong business acumen, communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
  • Pleasant personality, patience, and an understanding of customer needs; ability to prioritize customer interests
  • Willingness and ability to travel or stay for extended periods (exceeding 3-4 months) in foreign countries at short notice
  • Ability to self-manage itineraries in foreign countries
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential
