Extensive traveling (up to 80%) to APAC & ANZ regions
Basic salary: up to $4,700 + travel allowance + performance bonus
Responsibilities
Identify and engage new Data Center customers and consultants, obtain new contacts for key account and regional managers.
Develop and maintain knowledge of consumers, competitors, and market trends through engagement to support market analysis.
Lead on global purchase/LOA agreement inquiries from customers.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and standards through attending events and seminars, individual and group training programs, and reading industry publications and newsletters.
Communicate the information acquired to superiors to maximize sales opportunities, keeping the department and the business aligned with the latest trends and best practices, giving the business a competitive edge and solidifying its position as a market leader.
Identify and expand business into potential industry segments, develop market entry strategies, engage potential business partners to spec in and obtain inquiries leading to orders.
Identify Data Center customers' needs and enhance the company's chances of securing orders.
Conduct company and product presentations for owners, consultants, and any other new external stakeholders.
Spec in our brand and product into consultant and owners' vendor lists, influence them to apply our brand.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, like Engineering, QA, GSC, and others on handling inquiries.
Meet with Data Center customers/dealers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
Network through attending exhibitions, seminars, and any other activities that can enhance our brand awareness as well as building connections.
Handle Data Center inquiries and project tenders on assigned regions by superiors.
Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to identify opportunities for improving existing products and marketing materials based on market demand and latest advancements.
Gather feedback from clients and dealers and channel it to engineering, QA & GSC for product and service quality improvement.
Handle any other ad hoc tasks requested by superiors.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any equivalent Engineering.
Experience in handling distributors, key accounts & customers.
3 years of related genset and data center sales experience preferred.
Technical presentation skills.
Excel; Pivot Table and Advanced Formulas & Analytics.
Negotiating and influencing skills.
Ice breaking and engagement ability with strangers.
Able to work on any ad-hoc tasks.
Willing to travel on short notice.
