Job summary

A leading company in the silicate industry is seeking a Sales Manager to develop and manage business in the Asia Pacific region. The role involves prospecting new clients and achieving sales targets while providing support and reporting to the Head of Business in Singapore. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in chemistry and have solid regional sales experience.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years regional sales experience in chemical or silicate industries.
  • Ability to travel within the Asia region.
  • Proven track record in achieving growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new agents or distributors.
  • Manage direct customers and achieve revenue goals.
  • Report to the Managing Director & Head of Business.

Skills

Fluency in Mandarin
Fluency in English
Sales experience

The Role :

  • Prospect, develop and manage new agents / distributors and direct customers in Asia Pacific region.

  • Achieve strong growth targets in revenue & profit.

  • Based in Singapore

  • Reporting to the Managing Director & Head of Business, Asia Pacific

Profile / Qualification :

  • A recognized Degree or Diploma in chemistry or equivalent.

  • Reasonable regional sales experience (3 – 5 years) in the chemical or silicate-related industries.

  • Travelling within Asia region is required.

  • Fluency in written & spoken Mandarin & English.
