A premier travel service provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage sales and customer relations in the travel industry. Responsibilities include planning sales kits, customizing programs, and liaising with industry partners. The ideal candidate has a diploma in travel, at least 2 years of experience, and strong communication skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
Responsibilities
• Plan and prepare sales kits for Free & Easy packages
• Customize programs/itineraries and prepare coach rate schedule
• Upload packages to the system for selling
• Manually upload and adjust selling prices as approved by management
• Liaise and negotiate contracts with hotels and other industry partners for rates for both FIT and group booking
• Manage petty cash in MYR for drivers and weekly expenses (guide’s fee, hotel payments, driver overland claims)
• Prepare refund and coordinate with finance department
• Issue invoices and exchange order for payment
• Prepare quotation for overland groups trips/local transportations and tour group
• Handling all reservations requests/enquires via email and other online/offline channels
• Handle the hotline for overland departures on a weekly rotational basis
• Liaise with drivers/guides regarding issues such as uncaptured or duplicate booking
• Ensure overall customer satisfaction
• Conduct weekly planning for overland trips to Malacca and Kuala Lumpur
• Combine trips by contacting and transferring bookings of passengers, send notification via SMS/WhatsApp and email
• Ad hoc duties given by superior
Requirements
• Candidate should possess Diploma/Professional qualifications in the travel industry
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in the Travel Industry
• Prior experience with corporate sales and marketing will be advantage
• Good knowledge of tour products and tour leading
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and contribute to all areas
• Ability to handle stress and work in fast paced environment & extended hours
• Keen interest in local and international travel trends
• Excellent communication in English, Malay, and Mandarin
• Singaporean & PR Preferred
