Job description

Position Summary

This position contributes to the business by :

  • supporting regional retail innovation and strategy,
  • liaising with subsidiaries in ASEAN/ANZ to translate strategy into executions and eventually results
  • providing timely analysis and insights from regional data and executions
  • Aligning regional retail strategy to complement HQ programs and plans.

The role will involve a high level of coordination with local subsidiaries’ retail teams, and help create quality reports to C-Level.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyse regional market trends, internal data, customer feedback, competition, current offering structure, and strategic priorities to help define new offerings for the region, create go-to-market strategies and plans, and drive go-to-market execution
  • Size business opportunities in the region shopper segment -level to facilitate product launch planning and deliver best practice execution
  • Support management of field force strategy for the region, including resource allocation (deployment efficiency), compensation and benefits management, promoter grading, training/ capability development, and design of rewards & recognition to achieve the set field force KPIs. This is in coordination with the Subsidiary retail operations and the regional human resources team
  • Provide and summarize related reports to the management, also keep updated and get information with the Company's external Outsource Service Partner
  • Distil best practices of Retail executions and scale across region with speed
  • innovate on retail execution, proactively driving O2O/ Omnichannel shopper journey base on consumer insights

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree with at least 5-6 years of retail operations, trade marketing, and/or channel marketing experience in Consumer Goods
  • Regional experience would be ideal
