Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with A1 main contractor in mega infrastructure projects.

  • Ability to commit to a 6-day work week, including weekends.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve QHSE management systems across Singapore, Malaysia and any other required Asia countries
  • Stay updated and ensure compliance with the relevant regulations and policies
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, ISO standards, and corporate QHSE policies
  • Lead and conduct incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action plans
  • Promote a strong safety culture and risk management mindset across all levels of the organization including project sites
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, training and performance reviews of QHSE programs
  • Stay updated on the relevant QHSE laws, regulations, and policies
  • Collate and analyse QHSE performance and trends and provide regular reporting to headquarters in Korea
  • Support all tender documents for upcoming new PJTs in Singapore.
  • Build stakeholder relationships with local authorities, industry bodies, and internal business leaders
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the project sites teams and QHSE representatives on the implementation of QHSE initiatives
  • Lead and monitor local completed projects which are in Defect Liability Period (DLP) and/or warranty period for any uncompleted defect works and warranty works
  • Develops work safety systems and implement the existing safety systems
  • Manages risk profiling associated with the project scope
  • Manage QHSE Organization including relevant party in Singapore (Equipment PIC in PMO, Defects PIC from Building and Civil sides)
  • Coordinate between PJT and client (LTA) and HQ relevant teams and groups.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in A1 main contractor capacity handling mega infrastructure project such as LTA MRT projects and/or Road projects
  • Minimum 5 years of proven track record in managing cross-border QHSE and compliance operations
  • 6D work week and must be committed to work on weekends and public holidays if needs arise
