Job description

The role is looking for a driven sales professional for the Regional Product Manager position who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that sales in the assigned territory reach or exceed the forecast level.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supported by the management team, you are responsible for driving the new sales and marketing of instruments, labware and consumables supplies, and RUO reagent-based systems in the region including:
  2. Active regional customer visits to expand product portfolio offering for growth and expansion.
  3. Contributing as a key team member on the new product evaluation team.
  4. Developing and driving the marketing and sales growth plan, collaborating with country business managers to achieve sales objectives.
  5. Coordinating with field service and application specialists to ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate good communication between customers, Sales, Application and operations.
  6. Keeping up to date with market and product knowledge, policies, and processes to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
  7. Utilise quotation tools and knowledge about the customer, to leverage on insights leading to an increase in sales pipelines to meet sales target.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Science or related qualifications
  2. Work experience in a SME trading or distributor environment
  3. 4 years of sales experience in relevant products.
  4. An organized, meticulous, and disciplined person with a good eye for details
  5. Able to work in teams as well as independently.
  6. Must be able to work in fast-paced environment.
  7. Good proficiency in written and spoken English.
  8. Proficient in MS Office – word, excel
  9. Knowledge of Trade Facilities like Letter of Credit is advantageous
