Job description

The Senior Regional Product Executive (Footwear) develops, executes, and manages concepts based on regional footwear trends, competitor insights, and customer voices. They define buyer personas and create product strategies to drive brand awareness and demand, achieving business goals. By acting in accordance with Mizuno’s core values of Fair Play, Fighting Spirit, and Friendship, each individual contributes to the realization of Mizuno Group’s Purpose and Vision.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop regional product lines based on the needs of the Regional Special Making Unit (SMU), focusing on market demands, trends, consumer behaviors, products, and pricing.
  2. Achieve Key Performance Metric Goals such as Category-Level Sales & Margin Targets to meet the company's overall product marketing objectives.
  3. Utilize analytics to analyze sales, margin, retail price, cost structure, product segmentation, and merchandising prerequisites for the Sales Team & Distributors.
  4. Prepare Seasonal Order Sheets and consolidate Order Forecasts in a timely manner, gathering all necessary information about Seasonal/Annual Product, Cost, & Schedule.
  5. Communicate regularly with the Global Footwear Product Development team to make strategic product decisions alongside Design, Development, Production, & Sales teams.
  6. Establish a close relationship with the Marketing Team for seasonal/annual Product & Category Development.
  7. Lead business presentations to discuss category direction and product line strategy. Presentations include our Distributors, Sales Team, Marketing Team, and Upper Management during key events such as Pre-Lines, Sample Reviews, & Sales Conferences.
  8. Ensure proper filing, sorting, and retrievability of electronic & hard-copy documents.
  9. Perform additional tasks as assigned based on team needs and business requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of footwear materials, technology, and design.
  2. Good commercial awareness.
  3. Ability to analyze data and communicate effectively.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  5. Excellent presentation skills.
