Job description

As we expand our footprint across the ASEAN region, we are seeking a highly driven Regional Procurement Pharmacist to lead procurement transformation within the organisation. This role bridges pharmaceutical expertise with procurement and supply chain strategies, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness in sourcing essential medical supplies and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the implementation and optimization of procurement systems and workflows across the ASEAN region.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business priorities, driving cost savings and commercial value.
• Manage the full procurement cycle: identifying needs, supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, inventory management, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop strong supplier partnerships and evaluate performance to maintain quality and compliance.
• Mitigate procurement risks and ensure adherence to company policies, local laws, and ethical practices.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives, including system upgrades and platform deployment.
• Oversee central purchasing functions and maintain accurate inventory management across multiple locations.
• Evaluate new drug entries and review institutional drug formularies.
• Perform stocktake analytics and present insights to management.
• Work closely with clinical teams to streamline end-to-end procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with HSA requirements, including maintaining Wholesale and Import licenses and adhering to Good Distribution Practice.
• Maintain compliance with MOH and HSA regulations in all procurement activities.

Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement and supply chain.
• Experience in oncology products or services is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
