Job summary

ShopeePay is seeking a regional payments lead to drive initiatives across card networks and rails, including cross-border enablement and remittance solutions. You will build partnerships with regional banks and PSPs, optimize costs, and devise new payment solutions to grow adoption.

The role requires strong Excel and analytical skills, plus the ability to manage stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects across product, marketing, risk, and compliance in a dynamic fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience.
• Understanding of payment back-end flows, settlement processes, and integration dependencies.
• Growth mindset with eagerness to pick up new skills and domain knowledge.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Ability to navigate internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional initiatives to strengthen ShopeePay’s payment infrastructure across card networks and payment rails, including cross-border enablement, remittance and other fintech solutions.
• Build deep partnerships with regional banks, card schemes, and payment service providers to identify gaps in payment flows, optimize costs and also devise new payment solutions.
• Grow user adoption and volume across payment channels through driving new payment solutions and joint marketing campaigns with payment partners.
• Lead strategic cross-functional projects involving local markets, product, marketing, risk, legal & compliance.
• Identify competitors, cross-market learnings, and emerging payment trends, and provide recommendations to improve product conversion and go-to-market strategies.
