Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and present merchandising strategies for the Paris HQ region and markets.
  • Manage product lifecycle from buying to delivery, ensuring timely and effective launches.
  • Define the product mix for each market category.
  • Prepare seasonal open-to-buy plans with the Supply Chain Department.
  • Attend seasonal buying sessions in Paris to ensure appropriate merchandise assortment and quantities, and network to achieve sales targets.
  • Align sales forecasts for seasonal and permanent products with the Supply Chain Department.
  • Coordinate category-related issues between Paris HQ, countries, and boutiques.
  • Collaborate with markets to identify suitable target clients for managed categories.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and monitor market, product trends, and pricing.
  • Set retail pricing aligned with the global price strategy as defined by Paris.
  • Optimize inventory levels through collaboration with Supply Chain, Paris HQ, and rebalancing among markets.
  • Propose season-end discounts and control discounting to meet budget goals.
  • Organize and coordinate promotional activities.
  • Analyze sales performance via sell-through analysis and propose action plans to improve results.
  • Suggest incentives for selected categories and products to meet sales targets.
  • Work with Visual Merchandising on product launches, boutique remerchandising, and season-end sales.
  • Collaborate with PR to ensure brand image promotion aligns with product plans.
  • Partner with Client Marketing to maximize clientele activities and identify new business opportunities.
  • Organize and implement product training based on identified needs.
  • Provide boutiques with relevant product information, sales strategies, and selling techniques.
