Standard BioTools is seeking an ambitious Regional Marketing Manager to support the Greater Asia region. This role will be responsible for, but not limited to, adapting corporate marketing material for regional requirements, leading outbound marketing communications, as well as organizing tradeshows, workshops, and training sessions for distributors and customers.
The Regional Marketing Manager will also be expected to gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and insights to inform corporate marketing and support business growth.
This role reports directly to the VP of Global Marketing and works closely with the Senior Director, Channel Management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all outbound marketing communications to both distributors and customers directly.
- Expected to regionalize and modify corporate marketing material so that it is appropriate and effective for the Greater Asia market.
- Arrange regular workshops, teleconferences, and training involving corporate marketing or other Standard BioTools groups to distributors.
- Responsible for organizing tradeshows, either directly or with distributors.
- Manage all requests for literature, sales, and/or marketing material from distributors, as well as repurposing material from corporate marketing to suit regional needs and requirements.
- Responsible for delivery of digital tactics such as webinars, email, and nurturing campaigns.
- Management of local websites.
- Provide data and analysis to corporate marketing and other groups within SBI when necessary to identify product trends and opportunities.
- Develop and implement marketing programs.
- Any other duties as assigned by Manager.
Candidate Specification:
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience.
- Proven experience in market analysis in the APAC region, with the capacity to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Knowledge of Australian and Korean life science markets is a plus.
- Experience with promoting life sciences products to customers to ensure adoption.
- M.S. and/or Ph.D. in a related Life Science field preferable (or marketing equivalent).
- Combination of domain knowledge in the following areas: qPCR, flow cytometry, genotyping, gene expression, NGS, proteomics, and imaging.
- Fluency in English, with other languages as a plus.
- Capable of working in a hybrid manner.
- Travel up to 30% of the time.
