Job description

The Role

This position is based in Canon Singapore, the regional headquarters for the group’s sales and marketing operations with subsidiaries and distributorship presence across more than 22 countries.

You will play a key role in liaising with and supporting the sales subsidiaries and distributors for consumer products in your assigned countries.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Country Performance: Support designated countries in achieving key performance indicators, including sales, inventory management, market share growth, and profit objectives.
  • Sales Analysis & Reporting: Provide regular updates and in-depth analysis of sales performance for management review.
  • Demand Forecasting & Inventory Management: Work in tandem with the Business Planning team to ensure accurate demand forecasting for achieving sales targets and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Market & Consumer Insights: Collaborate with country teams to analyze consumer behavior, monitor market trends, and assess the competitive landscape, contributing to the development and execution of strategies that maximize business opportunities.
  • Marketing Effectiveness: Track marketing expenditure and assess the impact and effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities.
  • New Product Introduction: Partner with Product Marketing and Business Planning teams to facilitate the timely and successful launch of new products.
  • Budget Preparation: Participate in the preparation of annual and quarterly budgets.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Undertake additional duties and prepare reports assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Functional Competencies

  • Minimum Diploma & above.
  • 3- 5 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated thoroughness, follow-up and attention to detail.
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
