Regional Market Development Manager - AgriChem

The Company

Our client, a leading global player in agricultural chemicals, is seeking a Regional Market Development Manager to drive market expansion and product commercialization across Southeast Asia. This strategic role focuses on developing and executing growth initiatives for herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides in key markets, including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia.

The Role

• Develop and execute market expansion strategies for herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides in ASEAN, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
• Identify and build strategic partnerships with local distributors and key stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new product development and market entry.
• Lead business development initiatives to drive sales growth and market penetration.
• Oversee regulatory approvals and registration processes for agrochemical products.
• Develop sales plans and budget forecasts in alignment with corporate strategy.
• Manage commercialization efforts for existing and upcoming product portfolios.
• Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align business strategies and execution plans.
• Prepare performance reports, market insights, and business recommendations for senior management.
• Handle administrative and operational responsibilities, including contracts, banking, and compliance.
• Support and mentor future team members, ensuring effective goal-setting and performance management.
• Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities for product expansion in key agricultural markets.
• Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and regulatory discussions.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the agrochemical industry.
• Proven track record in business development, market expansion, and commercialization of agricultural chemicals.
• Experience working across Southeast Asian markets, including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
• Familiarity with regulatory approval and product registration processes for agrochemicals in ASEAN countries.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify growth opportunities and drive market penetration.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with distributors, partners, and regulatory authorities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-growing business environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
