We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Regional Marine Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Singapore. We're looking for a skilled HUNTER who can unlock opportunities, create value to customers, develop strong relationships, and manage the sales process to grow our business.
This role demands a proactive professional who can unlock opportunities, deliver value-driven solutions, build strong customer relationships, and drive the sales process across Singapore and the broader APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
As a Marine Technical Sales Manager , you will:
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell Viswa Group’s technical solutions and services to ship owners and managers in Singapore and other APAC regions.
- Craft customer-specific value propositions and effectively communicate the benefits of using Viswa Group’s services.
- Identify opportunities in complementary industries and pursue open RFPs by crafting winning responses.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Act as a single point of contact for customer needs, ensuring a responsive and customer-centric approach.
- Follow up on sales to ensure customer satisfaction and support accounts receivable teams in collections when needed.
Strategy & Market Analysis
- Analyze competitor strategies, market trends, and upcoming industry regulations to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Present strategies for market expansion and innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
Reporting & Internal Collaboration
- Track monthly sales progress and maintain detailed records in the CRM.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement competitive solutions within your account portfolio.
- Facilitate the handover of new customers to account managers for seamless transition and continuity.
Communication & Presentation
- Deliver high-standard communication, both verbal and written, including polished presentations tailored to client needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience : 3 to 10 years in the maritime industry with a proven track record in sales.
- Language Skills : Proficiency in English, knowing other languages will be an added advantage, for example, Chinese etc.
- Technical Proficiency :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Experience using CRM tools for tracking and reporting.
- Soft Skills :
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
- Adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
