A leading Shipping and Logistics company is expanding and seeking a Regional Legal Compliance Manager in Singapore. Job description

A leader in Shipping and Logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the Regional Legal Compliance Manager position based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain compliance policies, standards, and procedures aligned with current laws and best practices.

· Oversee policy reviews, updates, and approvals in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

· Lead compliance training and communications across internal teams and third-party partners.

· Monitor regulatory developments across jurisdictions and recommend appropriate updates.

· Establish and uphold a governance structure to ensure consistent policy enforcement.

· Manage internal investigations on potential breaches of law, policy, or ethics—overseeing fact-finding, documentation, and confidentiality.

· Propose and track corrective actions post-investigation.

· Design and implement compliance assessment and monitoring programs.

· Work closely with audit, risk, and operations teams to strengthen internal controls and compliance frameworks.

· Prepare reports on compliance trends and risks for leadership review.

Requirements:

· Degree in Law, Business, or related discipline.

· 6-8 years of experience in compliance, governance, regulatory affairs, or internal audit.

· Experience leading compliance functions or initiatives in a multinational or cross-functional environment.

· Strong knowledge of global compliance frameworks, risk assessment, and investigation procedures.

· Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder engagement ability.
