Regional Business Development Manager (100% Hunter Role) - SL

Our client is a global leader in supply chain solutions offering innovative services across various industries, including automotive, consumer, industrial, and retail markets. These services cover areas such as order management, distribution, fulfillment, customs brokerage, and transportation across multiple regions. The company emphasizes on customer focus and are well known in providing solutions to solve complex problems.

Overview: As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by acquiring new customers and promoting comprehensive logistics solutions. This role focuses on contract logistics, cross-border trucking and international freight, with a strong emphasis on targeting and hunting for new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect and target potential customers in focus markets to generate new business and expand market presence within the region.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, identifying opportunities.

  • Develop customized value propositions by understanding each customer’s supply chain challenges and propose matching solutions to address these pain points.

  • Maintain accurate and timely reports regarding target accounts, sales opportunities, and customer interactions to track progress and ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Ensure smooth customer qualification and onboarding processes, including credit setup and contract coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. MBA will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain or logistics commercial role, with a deep understanding of supply chain logistics and local market practices.

  • Strong understanding of solution-based sales strategies and the ability to craft customer-centric solutions.

  • Analytical skills to assess and interpret market data and customer needs.

  • Strong knowledge of international and domestic logistics, including contract logistics services (CLS), container freight stations (CFS), cross-border trucking, and domestic distribution.
