Job summary

Smith+ Nephew in Singapore is seeking a Regional Inventory Specialist to manage field inventory, consignment stock, loaner surgical sets and capital assets across Australia and New Zealand. The role drives inventory accuracy, asset utilisation and timely issue resolution through cycle count coordination, reconciliation, variance investigation, stakeholder partnering and performance reporting.

Working closely with Sales, Customer Care, Operations, Finance, Quality and regional Supply Chain teams,

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, logistics, business, finance or data analytics.
• Demonstrated logistics or inventory-control experience with SAP and Microsoft tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability; attention to detail and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hospital consignment stock cycle counts across the region with hospitals and providers.
• Verify field assets and inventory frequencies; reconcile counts and update records.
• Investigate variances with Sales and Customer Care to support revenue recognition.
• Monitor returns, overdue loans, missing items and consignment changes; escalate risks.
• Conduct regular inventory/asset audits and analyse utilisation to improve DSI and turns.
• Support BOM accuracy and stock configuration across ERP and case-booking systems.
• Maintain records for capital equipment, consignment inventory and loaner sets.
