Job summary

AstaGuru Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Indian & South Asian Art Specialist to grow the Singapore market. You will source, evaluate, and secure high-quality artworks while expanding collector networks and establishing consignments for auctions and private sales.

The role focuses on authenticating provenance, researching market trends, and collaborating with internal teams to support catalogue development and storytelling. Travel within Southeast Asia is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Indian/South Asian art.
• Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian/South Asian art markets.

Responsibilities

• Source high-quality Indian and South Asian art across regions.
• Build and maintain relationships with collectors and galleries.
• Develop a network of HNI/UHNI clients and art advisors.
• Drive category-building initiatives for sourcing.
• Travel within the region for sourcing and relationships.
