A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR leader to provide strategic guidance and mentorship across APAC. The successful candidate will lead digital HR transformation initiatives, ensure compliance with labor laws, and support performance management and succession planning. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant HR experience, strong intercultural communication skills, and familiarity with HRIS platforms. This role involves travel as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provides strategic direction and mentorship to HR heads across APAC, ensuring alignment with global HR practices and effective local adaptation of regional initiatives.
Acts as the primary HR liaison for regional executives and guides local HR teams in maintaining consistent communication and stakeholder engagement, both internal and external.
Leads digital HR transformation through HRIS and analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making and workforce planning.
Ensures regional compliance with labor laws, ethical standards, and conducts HR audits, policy reviews, and risk assessments.
Oversees fair and consistent performance management, talent identification, and succession planning across the region.
Designs competitive and compliant rewards programs while promoting a values-based culture and enhancing employee engagement and well-being.
Drives capability building, learning initiatives, and leads change management efforts to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Aligns HR strategies with business goals, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related matters to drive innovation and performance
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience managing HR teams across multiple countries or subsidiaries, preferably within the APAC region.
Expertise in developing talent strategies, succession planning, and organizational capability building.
Strong empathy, active listening, and ability to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Proven intercultural communication and problem-solving skills, with experience navigating multinational environments.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms and leveraging technology for HR operations and analytics.
Hands-on experience in leading cultural and organizational change initiatives across borders.
Knowledge of regional labor laws, HR compliance standards, and governance practices (advantageous).
Minimum of 10 years of relevant HR experience, with willingness to travel for business as needed.
