Your new job includes

As a member of our family-owned business, you will drive and execute the Marketing strategies for the Region to meet the strategic business goals and objectives and be accountable for the performance of the Team. In addition, you will also represent Heinemann in the best possible way when dealing with external stakeholders. As the Regional Head of Marketing, you will

  • build the overall marketing and digital strategy and implement regional marketing plans across business units and retail shops to achieve business goals and objectives
  • provide strong marketing leadership and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns both physical and digital.
  • manage the marketing budgets for the region and ensure effective deployment of resources and budgets
  • build strong partnership with the global marketing team, based in Hamburg as well as with the local marketing teams within the respective markets
  • define, track and measure the effectiveness of all marketing activities and initiatives and adjust strategy accordingly
  • lead development of compelling marketing materials and collaterals, including digital ads, email marketing, social media and website content

What you should bring along

  • a Degree in Business or Marketing, with practical experience of at least five to ten years in a Marketing or Communications role in a leadership capacity within the Travel Retail industry.
  • proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite such as Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • strong understanding of brands, advertising and promotion, and has good marketing partnership and media network locally and regionally.
  • strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills with the proven ability to build and sustain relationships.
  • good business and financial acumen with strategic and analytical mindset, complemented by the capability to multi-task and the flexibility to handle changing requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • proven management experience with a strong ability to manage and mentor Team Members.
