Job description
Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial processes across multiple regions and subsidiaries to ensure effective control and application of corporate policies and procedures of the Group.
  • Review, monitor, and consolidate the financial performance of the company in the region, and present reports to Group HQ in France.
  • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting processes, and quarterly reforecasts, ensuring timely preparation and consolidation of all financial reports.
  • Provide strategic leadership, direction, and mentoring to finance and accounting teams across multi-country operations.
  • Manage cash flow optimization, bank relationships, and working capital requirements at a regional level.
  • Lead financial reviews of large-scale construction projects, including profitability and risk assessments.
  • Oversee project-related financial setup, such as JV agreements, contract reviews, and bank guarantee management.
  • Supervise mergers and acquisitions, including acquisition analysis and monitoring.
  • Act as the ethics referent within the region, ensuring compliance with Group requirements and international accounting standards.
  • Implement financial systems and digital tools to drive continuous improvement in management control.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Over 15 years of relevant financial management experience, including 10+ years in regional leadership roles.
  • Proven track record as a CFO managing multi-country financial operations within the construction and engineering sector.
  • Full and comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, holding requirements, and international reporting standards.
  • Professional qualifications: ACCA, IFRS Certified Accountant and Certified Tax Advisor
  • Strong financial, administrative, and strategic planning skills, including contract and risk management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills across multicultural environments.
  • Ability to represent the company effectively with external stakeholders (auditors, banks, authorities).
  • Ability to work in a regional and multicultural environment.
