HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Are you a proactive learner, passionate about contributing to commercial excellence and eager to drive growth across the business? If so, we would like to present you with the opportunity to join our Cartier Southeast Asia & Oceania (SEAO) team.

In this role, you will support all aspects of the regional fragrance strategy, ensuring its strong impact and growth within the SEAO region. You will achieve this by creating and implementing the growth strategy for this business pillar in a collaborative and entrepreneurial manner.

You will lead a lean team and serve as a regional fragrance expert within SEAO and liaise with HQ.

Your key responsibilities include:

Strategy and Performance

  • Develop and implement the regional fragrance strategy for the SEAO region, aligning with the global Maison vision.
  • Drive commercial initiatives and identify new opportunities with distribution partners, maximizing profitability and monitoring performance on a market-by-market basis.
  • Partner with market Managing Directors, commercial teams, and marketing teams to implement respective commercial strategies.
  • Enhance the long-term equity and visibility of the fragrance category across all distribution channels in SEAO markets, establishing strong relationships with partners.
  • Serve as the go-to person for fragrance commercial performance insights across the region.

Brand Visibility

  • Lead the promotion of the fragrance category across the omnichannel network.
  • Strengthen brand awareness both internally and externally, working alongside various teams such as Marketing, Commercial, VM, L&D, as well as with distributors/partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the fragrance category.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective partners and distributors in the region.
  • Expand the fragrance presence across the Travel Retail Network.
  • Provide central marketing teams with relevant feedback on product development needs and marketing/communication tools.
  • Generate and leverage insights and best practices to continuously strengthen the foundation of the fragrance strategy.

People Development & Retail Staff Management

  • Cultivate a regional fragrance community internally, providing internal teams with insights from external and internal ecosystems.
  • Oversee the management and performance of beauty consultants, ensuring they are equipped to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Partner with local L&D teams to develop comprehensive training programs for retail staff, enhancing their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer engagement techniques.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and provide regular feedback to beauty consultants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Proven track record of approximately 10 years’ experience in driving commercial and/or marketing initiatives within the beauty and/or fragrance industry.
  • 3 to 5 years of people management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels within a matrix environment.
  • Strategic thinker, comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a multinational environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, pragmatic, and able to lead cross-markets/cross-functional discussions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
