Job summary

Shopee is seeking a Regional FP&A intern to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across markets. You will assist in consolidating budgets for operating expenses and contribute to variance analysis that informs leadership decisions.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accountancy or business, are proficient in Excel, and have exposure to SQL or Python. This is a full-time internship (3–6 months) based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Accountancy or Business.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, familiarity with SQL/Python is a plus.
• Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months)

Responsibilities

• Assist in consolidating the monthly/quarterly budget for Operating Expense – Staff Cost, General & Administrative expense, Server and Hosting cost and Shared Expense
• Conduct variance analysis between forecasted and actual expenses, identifying key drivers of variances and presenting insights for improved forecasting accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for senior management, including financial summaries, variance reports, and trend analyses.
