Job summary

Shopee in Singapore is seeking a motivated intern to support the budgeting process for Monee across business segments. You will assist in consolidating monthly/quarterly budgets and prepare financial summaries.

This role involves variance analysis, identifying drivers, and helping produce management presentations. You will gain hands-on experience in forecasting and financial storytelling in a fast-paced environment; ideal for a student ready to contribute for 3–6 months.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accountancy or Business.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL/Python is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate clearly.
• Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in consolidating the monthly/quarterly budget for Monee across business segments.
• Perform variance analysis between forecasted and actual results, identifying key drivers and providing insights to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Support the preparation of management presentation materials, including financial summaries, variance analyses, and trend analyses.
