Job summary

Salt is seeking a Regional Financial Controller for APAC in Singapore. You’ll lead regional financial reporting, budgeting and planning, and partner with regional and global leaders to drive commercial decision-making and long-term growth.

The role requires strong accounting, controls, and transformation experience across multiple markets. You’ll oversee statutory reporting, tax and audits, strengthen governance, and guide finance transformation initiatives.

The Opportunity

Our client is a global technology business with operations across multiple international markets. As they continue investing in APAC, they are looking for an experienced Regional Financial Controller to lead the regional finance function and act as a trusted partner to both regional and global stakeholders. This is not a role where you’ll simply oversee the numbers. You’ll connect financial performance with business outcomes, partnering with leaders across the region to provide insight, drive accountability and support better decision‑making. You’ll move comfortably between strategic conversations and operational execution, whether that’s guiding forecasts, improving controls, leading transformation projects or helping stakeholders understand the story behind the numbers. What you’ll be doing

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility and financial performance.
• Lead, coach and develop finance resources across the region.

We’d love to hear from you if you have Experience in a Financial Controller, Regional Finance Manager or similar finance leadership role.

• Strong technical accounting, reporting and controls expertise.
• Experience operating within a multinational environment across APAC.
• A track record of partnering with business leaders beyond finance.
• Experience leading process improvement, controls enhancement or finance transformation initiatives.
• The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on when required.
• CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the credibility to influence at senior levels.
